Injury/Illness/LMP Date

With Version 25, Medisoft changed the Injury/Illness/LMP Date field. You now must type it in the format xx/xx/xxxx. Before it was a date field so you could type 01 and it would place the / and then type 25 and it would place a / and then type the last 2 digits of the year. Now through you get an error. I'm sure this is a flaw since it worked fine in all previous versions of Medisoft so can you let eMDs know to fix this?

Steve, you sure about that? This field has always been different 'cause you can enter values besides dates in the field.

Positive...I have used this field MANY, MANY times...either for auto/work comp claims or for the onset date for chiropractic Medicare claims and it has always been a date field similar to the Initital Treatment Date field that is formatted for a date. If you happen to have an old V24 or 23 check it out and you'll see the change in V25.

You're right Steve. I am putting in a request with eMDs to get that changed.
