Update Obtainable: Medisoft v22 SP1

Post by Gavin Walker » Tue Apr 03, 2018 8:59 am

Medisoft v22 SP1 software update is now obtainable.

The Service Pack comprises new alterations to authenticate the Medicare Beneficiary ID (MBI) as well as some key repairs for version 22.

In addition, Revenue Management has been revised to use the new Change Healthcare EMF service for automated claims. The URL for the "RELAY" communication session has been revised and a new infoExchangeClient.jar file is provided that will connect with the Change Healthcare EMF service.

Both alterations have been combined into the Medisoft 22 service pack 1 installer and do not need any extra configurations or labor-intensive setups.

You can recommence transmitting automated claims to RelayHealth (Now Change Healthcare) as soon as the service pack 1 installation is finished.
Note, if you managed to get this service pack last week, then you will need to reinstall the service pack to obtain the fix for the copy case issue.

You may enter the old legacy Medicare ID in that field if you wish.

OK, thank you Gavin.

A new problem I'm noticing is I when I create & check my claims. I created some claims edit rules & set them up as a message because it doesn't apply to all patients. Normally I'm able to just check the box to send it anyway if it doesn't apply but now for some reason I'm not able to check the box to send it.

In Revenue Management -> Preferences uncheck Auto Check Claims and see if that helps.

Does your Medisoft user have level 1 security? I know we have run into this, I just can't remember how we fixed it.

Are you getting any other errors when going into or checking the claims in Revenue Management?

Hmm, check for Revenue Management updates again. The latest is now 3.2218.18068.68. There were problems with a recent prior update.
