There have been some questions about how the new direct module update installs work. During the install you will be prompted to enter the first four digits of the serial number for your direct module. Each direct module has a different 4 digit code. For example if you are using the Arkansas Medicare Blue Cross direct module (ARMB), then you would enter 5607. Enter the digits for YOUR direct module. If you have more than one direct module, then you must repeat the process for EACH direct module. If you enter the wrong 4 digit code, then the install will either do nothing or install the update to the wrong direct module and you won't benefit from the update.

If your direct module got updated, then when you send your electronic claims, the title of the Send Electronic Claim window will be updated. Currently this update will show \"ANSI X12 - Version 12.02.03 07/16/07\"
