I dont want to print ZERO on the patient statement

Post by kunkun » Thu May 28, 2015 2:21 pm

Hi Gavin,

When I print patient statement in Medisoft, it prints ZERO also in the statement as a remainder. and statement becomes very large. I just want to put balance amount if any and ignore ZEROs. Where can I make changes in the reports or formats so it doesnt prints ZERO amount in the statement and just prints the balance.

Thanks
Binita

File -> Program Options -> Statement tab -> unchecked the two Print Detailed check boxes.

HI Gavin,

Thanks for your reply. I tried to uncheck those Detail boxes, restarted Medisoft but it still prints ZERO in the statement and it becomes very lengthy. What else I have to do. I print statements through Report, Patients Statement. We don't use Statement Manager to print it. If this makes a difference.

Thanks
Binita

Which edition of Medisoft do you have? Basic, Advanced, or Network Pro? Did you try going to File -> File Maintenance and recalculate all balances?

Hi gavin,,

I will try doing File Maintenance again to see if that works.

We use Medisoft Version Network PRo.

Hi Gavin,

I tried to do File Maintenance and also recalculate all the balance but still it is printing ZERO balance on the statement and it is unreasonably printing long statement.

Please help me with it and let me know what can i do now.. :(

Thanks
Binita

Is this a BillFlash statement? I see you have support with us for BillFlash. If it is BillFlash, give us a call and we will help you.

No it is a regular statement. For that particular practice we don't have Bill Flash set up.

Have you been printing statements before using Statement Management? Remainder Statements will print out at least one time. Try exporting the statements to a file (so they get marked as printed) and then start printing your statements with the next billing cycle.

I haven's used Statement Management before, so I will do that option and let me see if that works.

Thanks for the reply.
