Mislead to believe I could submit ANSI 5010 compliant with v19

I'm feeling very manipulated by AZCOMP at the moment. I'm in the process of changing clearinghouses and I'm discovering I need to pay another $499.00 in order to submit claims electronically. I have been using a clearing house that converts my text file and I was unaware. When I upgraded I was told emphatically v19 was ANSI 5010 compliant but what I wasn't told is it's only compliant with paper claims, not electronic submissions. I feel mislead and I'm extremely disappointed.

Well you weren't misled. Medisoft v19 can do ANSI 5010 claims right out of the box. The issue is Revenue Management must be configured to submit the claims to your clearinghouse and this can take a couple of hours. You can do this yourself if you are familiar with the ANSI 5010 standard and you have the companion guide from your clearinghouse. Or, you can work with a Medisoft reseller who can configure this for you. We currently charge $150 to setup ANSI 5010 electronic claims and you can purchase that service by going to our shopping cart here and selecting Revenue Management Setup. If you want to set this up yourself, private message me your email address and I will send you the Revenue Management user manual.

Thank you! This news makes me feel much better. To confirm: I can pay AZCOMP $499.00 to configure Revenue Management or I can pay MedTech Medical Management Systems $150.00 for the same configuration?

Well, you stated privately that you wanted Electronic Remittance Posting and setup for 10 additional practices. That adds to the cost. AZComp probably didn't have all that in their quote either. $150 is to setup electronic claims in one practice for one clearinghouse. AZComp will need to explain what is included with their services.
