Import data from Ms excel/ accaess/ Ms word into Medisoft ?

Post by HANIF » Wed Apr 15, 2015 3:55 pm

Hi Gavin,
i had saved some data of client's demographic info in excel & access so is there any feature in medisoft where we can import it mainly the enteries will go in transaction of charges, patients info or case history. those datas are hardly 10-20 mb .i have saved current & future appointments in ms word template. so is it possible to be transfered in medisoft ( office hours program) ? mainly i need import data from ms office excel/ access/ ms word ? these features are availble in accounting software like Quick Books ??? Does Medisoft has this feature ? Thanks for your time

No, it does not. There are ODBC and OLEDB drivers on the Medisoft disk if you want to develop your own import.

We're trying to save our insurance company data to an excel file. Our current Medisoft is v.19, can we do that without damaging our data?

If you have Medisoft Advanced or Net Pro you can use the Print Grid function and in there is an option to save to .CSV instead of printing the grid.
