Office Hours Pro v14

Post by jerif » Sun Mar 22, 2015 11:20 pm

Hi, I have been commissioned to help get the office scheduling software updated for windows 7. All computers are currently running XP or have Windows 7with a virtual server(?) running XP. I'm not super techie but can do quite a bit. Is the v14 capable of running in windows 7? I was told that our only option may be a $1200+ upgrade. This office is a small office and only uses the scheduler for appointments and no other tasks. Your help or input would be greatly appreciated. ~ Jeri

You were told correctly that Office Hours v14 does not support Windows 7. You have a few options.

1. Upgrade to Office Hours Pro Client/Server v20. With the current sale of 20% off, we currently have it listed at $608 and you will need a user license upgrade with that, but that will still come out far less than what you were quoted. Check out our shopping cart.

2. If your machines have Windows 7 Pro, you can download and install XP Mode for FREE from Microsoft and then install Office Hours v14 in XP Mode.

3. If you have 32-bit Windows 7, then Office Hours Pro v14 "should" work. You might run into an error every now and then, since v14 was never tested with Windows 7, but I think the errors will be bearable until they can afford to upgrade to v20.
