There is not much information out there re. Medisoft Reports Professional -- Is this a separate add-on to Medisoft and what does it cost? Do you need a separate licence?

Yes, this is an add-on to Medisoft and Medisoft Reports Pro costs $394 on our shopping cart. You would buy this if you want to modify existing reports that come with Medisoft or design your own reports, AND you are familiar with report designers, AND you have tried to use the built-in report designer that comes with Medisoft and you are running into roadblocks getting that to do what you want.

Also, it requires Medisoft Advanced or Network Pro (does not work with Medisoft Basic).

Thanks for the quick response, as usual. Does the report designer give at least an overview of the various tables, primary and secondary keys, indexes, etc.? Without that, it would be of very limited use.

Yes, it has a built in data dictionary with all the table indexes and default linkages between the tables, but you can link the tables however you want.
