PRINTING CLAIMS

Post by Solomon » Wed Jan 21, 2015 3:10 pm

Hi... I am very new to Medisoft so there for have a few questions.
I have created the claims and they have been sent to our clearinghouse, In claim management the claim show to be sent, I selected Reprint claim, report CMS 1500(Primary) - 02/12 W form, Preview the report o screen - okay. Error message "There are no claims to be printed using the filters specified". I also tried Print/ Send option and receive the same error message.
I would like to print the claim on a HCFA form so that I can submit a appeal with OP notes. Could you please advise?

Thanks

That is probably because the claims have a media type of electronic. If you want them to be paper claims, you have to switch the media type to paper to print them.

Double - Click the claim in Claims Management. There is Media Type 1, 2, and 3 that can be set to paper or electronic. On the Insurance record, you can set the default for these.
