Error 7008

Post by drk » Fri Nov 14, 2014 3:28 pm

Everything was working fine till end of day yesterday. Today, I am unable to login with the EADSDatabaseError 7008 - see below.

I have reinstalled v19 SP1 hotfix again, but did not help. I have also tried rebooting and restarting the Advantage Server.

What else can I try? I am getting desparate! Thanks in Advance.

Run \Medisoft\Bin\FileMaintLoad.exe and rebuild all indexes and pack all data. Backup your data first.

Hmm, any interfaces running? Make sure they are shut down. Reboot the computer, stop anti-virus and try again. Make sure no files in Medidata are marked read-only.

Thanks for your patience Gavin.

Not sure what you mean by running interfaces. I rebooted the machine, with no other users logged into the machine or medisoft. All antivirus programs are shutoff. I have checked every .adi and .adm file and changed a few that were marked readonly to read/write. It still won't rebuild indexes and am getting the warning "Errors encountered while deleting the Indexes from the following tables: MWCAS." I am successfully able to pack the data (not sure if that helps at all)

I have verified that MWCAS.ad{i,m,t} are all writable. I am now getting a new error 5016 reproduced below.

Googling the error message further, I think the problem is that my index(es) is corrupt. Anyway I can force rebuilding all the indexes outside of the file maintenance tool to get around the error?

Try manually deleting MWCAS.adi and then run FileMaintLoad.exe to rebuild all indexes.

Thanks for your help. I did that, which let me login but started getting "Cannot do that operation on a closed dataset" on pretty much every click. I ended up restoring a backup from a day ago, and reentering the data for one session on Thursday.

Now I am wondering how I am going to track & post all the claims that were submitted on Thursday morning for the Wednesday session - I am thinking that I recreate the claims, simply change their status to "Sent" and wait for the EOBs. Would that work or is there a better way?

I would think it best just to resend everything just to make sure it was sent. You will probably get back a few duplicate claim errors.
