Simple ERA

Post by sh184 » Sun Oct 26, 2008 8:20 pm

Hi Gavin,

Could you please explain the following -
1. Does this module integrates with Medisoft or is it a standalone application which communicates with Medisoft ?
2. Is there any long term Contract associated with it ?
3. Is there any trial period for this software?
4. If an ERA has multiple practices from the same insurance company, will this software work ?

I would really appreciate your response.

Thanks

Let me see if I can answer your questions.

1. SimpleERA integrates with Medisoft and requires Medisoft. It will not work as a stand alone product.
2. No, there is no contract. Currently the product supports Medisoft for the current and previous release of Medisoft. So, if you are on Medisoft v14, then you can expect to be able to get free updates to SimpleERA until Medisoft v16 is released. Afterwards, you may optionally purchase an upgrade to the current version of SimpleERA. Once purchased, SimpleERA will continue to work for you until there is either a change in the ERA file format, or you upgrade your Medisoft.
3. No, sorry there is no trial period for SimpleERA.
4. You can repost the same file multiple times into different practices. It will be cleaner if your clearinghouse will split the ERA file for you, but that is not necessary.

Can you install it on server?

Post by sh184 » Mon Oct 27, 2008 12:14 pm

Hi Gavin,

Thank you for a quick response. Just one more question. Currently I'm using my server as a workstation so can I install this on my server. Please let me know. And is there any support available if I come across any trouble during the installation.

Thank you!
