patient case combination does not exist

Recently we started getting the message: "patient/case does not exist" when we are
pulling up a new patient in the transaction entry screen. Can you tell me why all of a
sudden this is happening? We recently added the latest service pack.

You might try File Maintenance -> Rebuild all Indexes and Pack all Data. Run a backup first.
