Deceased patient accounts

We print address labels for reminder cards filtered by last visit date. Is there a way to deactivate deceased patients and keep them from being included in this list? We currently close the case for deceased patients to prevent charges from being entered in error but it does nothing to the remainder of the account. We try to pull the labels if we see them but that doesn't always work. Not a huge problem but it would be nice to prevent this if we can.

You could use the Report Designer and add a filter by either Date of Death range, or you could inactivate these patients and filter by the Inactive flag.
