I created a file as instructed by Revenue Management, but not sure how to connect it with the Medisoft database without screwing it up. I get an error message that "Revenue Management needs to be opened inside Medisoft". Where do I put the file so that Revenue Management recognizes it?

Are you launching Revenue Management from the Activities menu within Medisoft?

Yes I opened it from the Activities menu. I was able to move the the RM file to Medidata file, but now I get the 5004 error.

I read to resolve the tblPINS: Error 7041 I needed to change the file name from HCFAfile.exe to CMSfile.exe in my EDI list. This worked to create my file for ENS. I opened the file and it looks perfect, however when I upload the file to ENS, it did not transfer the service dates (but they dates were there when I reviewed the file for accuracy).

File Name should be RCM\RevenueManager.exe for ANSI 5010 claims. CMSFile.exe is being phased out with ICD-10 and Medisoft v19. You can use CMSFile for a while, but ENS will need to remap. There is no mapping step with your clearinghouse if you use ANSI 5010 claims.

When I change the file name, I get the 5004 error, again. So, with Medisoft V19 I have to use Revenue Management? How do I get past these errors in RM? Also, I purchased V18 with pre-order V19. When will V19 ship? I don't want to get comfortable with V18 and have to set things up again in V19.

Did you previously have Network Pro and you are stepping back to the Basic Edition of Medisoft? Try disabling your anti-virus. Your v19 serial # has been assigned. We are in the process of shipping out all the v19 pre-release orders. If you are in a hurry, you may
download your Medisoft v19 from here. I suggest using the Patient Accounting ISO link which will prompt you to burn your own disk.

I had Medisoft V7 prior. No anti-virus running. No hurry on the V19, just not wanting to get V18 fixed and then switch to V19 and start over with errors.
