Medisoft patient accounting 18 has disappeared

I can find "Medisoft patient accounting 18" in lists of Apps, but when I clicked on the button I get the msg: "Find Medisoft Database". When I click on "browse" I can only go to BIN or REPORTS. I haven't used program for over a week.
Have I lost it somewhere in Win8 or do I need to re-install?

Can you browse to C:\Medidata?

I can & have, but I do not see anything that looks like the program.Guess I need another clue? Thanks.

Without taking a direct look, my best guess would be that you need to re-install Medisoft v18. You might as well install the latest Medisoft Patient Accounting v18 service pack from here. Set your anti-virus to exclude C:\Medisoft\Bin from it's scans.
