File Transfer from Flash Drive

I have a new client and they gave me their medisoft files on flash drive. I have V17 and don't know how to upload the information without affecting my other practices. Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming it is a backup created from Medisoft, create a new blank practice in Medisoft and then while you are logged into the new practice go to File -> Restore Data and click the Find button and browse to the backup that is stored on your flash drive. Make sure you understand what you are doing. If you restore over the wrong data set, the only recovery is to restore a correct backup.

Thank you very much. I have downloaded the information. Now I am waiting for the creator to give me their log in and password. I think its good though.
