Final Draft I/O error 53

We recently upgraded from Medisoft Network V11 to Network V17 and everything seems to be working fine except the Final Draft. Medisoft Data runs on Domain and office staff have to log-in to domain with their own credentials. Everyone is able to run Medisoft, Medisign-in, TTScanner (local computer only) and Revenue Management from their own stations. However, when staff tries to launch Final Draft an error message pops “I/O error 53”. I tried to manually point to the Practice but it didn’t work. Any ideas?

Server Specs:
Windows 2008 R2 with Intel Quadcore
8 Gig Memory
1T harddrive
1G NIC

Client Specs:
Windows XP SP3
8 Gig Memory
500G Hardrive
1G NIC

Are there any files in Medidata share that are Read-Only? Or possibly you have restricted rights on any files? Add "Write" right to all files in Medidata and give "Everyone" full permission to Medidata and see if Final Draft launches. Then try tightening your security as necessary.
