Medisoft 17 - Error 7200

Post by lindsay89 » Thu Feb 02, 2012 4:36 pm

We recently upgraded from Medisoft 11 to 17, and whenever we try to edit claims in Claim Management (either by double-clicking or clicking "edit") the following error message comes up:

"qryExecProc: Error 7200: AQE Error: State=HY000; NativeError=2198; [iAnywhere Solutions] [Advantage SQL Engine] The stored procedure name is invalid: SP_SETAMOUNTANDFDOS -- Location of error in"

After this message comes up, we are unable to exit the claim window without force-quitting the program. This has been going on for a couple of weeks and is extremely inconvenient; we had our reseller try to help us but they say that "nothing is wrong with our data." Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone help?

Thank you!

There is something wrong with your data dictionary. There is a question if it is a problem with the shared data dictionary or the practice data dictionary. I would have to research to determine which of the two dictionaries contain the stored procedure in question. You can create a new Medidata folder and then copy the practice data folder to the new Medidata folder to create a new shared data dictionary. Hopefully that fixes it, otherwise the practice data dictionary needs to be repaired by a qualified Medisoft technician. Hopefully the reseller you are working with knows how to create a new Medidata folder, so that is something he can try if he hasn't already.
