We need to print the taxonomy code for one specific insurance company in Box 24J. Have created a Practice ID for that company using the Legacy 1 option and also tried adding it for "All" but it won't print either way. Any suggestions?

For box 24, you have to set it up on the provider IDs grid in the legacy IDs. Enter ZZ for the qualifier code (if it is not in the drop down list you can just type it in). Try printing with the CMS 1500 2/12 Primary report.

What version of Medisoft do you have and which report are you using to print the form?

(it will print if I use the taxonomy button--of course not in the right spot, but won't print using the Legacy ID 1)

Its supposed to print in the red section above where it prints the NPI in box 24.

The red section of 24J is where I want it to print, but it won't print (at all) using the Legacy ID 1 procedures for some reason.
As an experiment to see if any taxonomy information would print at all, I added to the Taxonomy button and it does print to the 17a area.

The Properties of Legacy 1 Data Fields and Expressions of the CMS 1500 (Primary) 2/12 says Print Transaction/Attending Provider/Pins Legacy 1.
Is that correct?

Hmm, it sounds like it should print. You may need to work directly with your Medisoft reseller in order to figure this one out.
