Being fairly new to the medisoft reports available, we have been looking for a report that will list ALL patients with a past due balance for an entire year. For example: from 01/01/2021 to 12/31/2021 is there such a report? tried several options but not finding one that shows whole year.
Is there also a report that shows EVERYTHING that an individual patient has been charged for, the insurance payment, any write offs, and patient payments with balances still due? We have only one doctor at our facility & he would like a report that can be readily looked at end of each year & evaluate whether or not to continue seeing patients with large unpaid balances. We are using medisoft vs. 27

You can do an "AS OF" date on your aging reports to see what is outstand as of a certain date such as 12/31/2020.
If you don't care about AR older than a certain date, then you can use the Write Off Utility to create balancing entries to your AR for anything with a balance prior to a specified date. This will make your current reports and statements much easier and faster to run.
