The Attachment Control Number (OWK06) is not being populated in the electronic claim even though data is present in that filed in the Case-Diagnosis tab. I'm using Medisoft Advanced v. 24.

Paperwork pulls from Transaction Entry EDI Notes button and it only sends the value entered when one of the following is entered in the Transmission Code field: BM , EL, EM, FX, or FT

This is populating it at the line level. I need to be able to populate it at the claim level.

OK, on the Patient > Case > Diagnosis Tab > EDI Report Frame

Enter "something" in the Report Type Code: Here are the suggested values:
AS Admission Summary
B2 Prescription
B3 Physician Order
B4 Referral Form
CT Certification
DA Dental Models
DG Diagnostic Report
DS Discharge Summary
EB Explanation of Benefits (Coordination of Benefits or Medicare Secondary Payor)
MT Models
NN Nursing Notes
OB Operative Note
OZ Support Data for Claim
PN Physician Therapy Notes
PO Prosthetics or Orthotic Certification
PZ Physical Therapy Certification
RB Radiology Films
RR Radiology Reports
RT Report of Tests and Analysis Report

Then the Report Transmission Code must be one of the following values:
"BM", "EL", "EM", "FX" , or "FT"

Then enter the Attachment Control Number.

This was what I tried the first time. The Report Type Code and Report Transmission Code are populated in the claim, but the Attachment Control Number is not populating in the claim even though I have it entered on the Diagnosis tab.

Sounds like we might have a bug. Which iGuide are you using? You may have to call in and get a ticket started.

I'm using:

Outbound Claims(837P MS24 5010 Claim-Generic)

Try Standard instead of Generic.

I got the same results. The Attachment Control Number is not showing up in PWK06 at the claim level.
