Post by dborders » Mon Jan 06, 2020 6:26 pm

Hello,

The practice analysis report shows total receipts as $9,875.89 and then there is a section of adjustments $5,833.93 mostly from insurance co etc and then it says net effect on accounts rec is $3,859.18 that is not really what the doctor brought so what is that # representing? The doctors think that is actually what they are bringing in.

thank you

That is the net effect of the outstanding accounts receivable during the time period. If the amount is positive, then that means the outstanding AR grew during the time period and you are falling behind in collections. If it is negative, then you caught up in collections during that time.
