RMData > Archive folder

Post by RandyO » Tue Oct 22, 2019 2:13 pm

Not that folders get a tad bloated but what can be removed from this folder.. at 1.5G, it is larger than the actual working files system..

Are these accessible through revenue management or simply a graveyard? can I simply move them out of the backup system, move them entirely out of the MS system and preserve them elsewhere?

Hi Randy, in Revenue Management go to Configure > Preferences > Revenue Management > Archive Options.

Check the box to Compress Archived Data. Then select the options to Archive files over 12 months old and make a new Archive every 12 months. Then go over to the report types and set them to Archive each report type after opening after 90 days except you'll probably want to keep Electronic Remittance Advises for longer. Then whoever is running Revenue Management needs to be instructed allow Revenue Management to Archive when it prompts during the startup.
