Medisoft and Windows 7

Post by kybiller » Sun Jan 10, 2010 4:57 pm

:?: I currently have Medisoft V15sp1 and Windows XP. Saw too many problems with Windows Vista so I stayed with XP. Will Medisoft run on Windows 7? If so, do you know if there are any problems associated with Medisoft and Windows 7? I'm thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 but cannot afford to blow my system. I'm a small billing service and this PC is my whole business! Thanks!

Hi, we have found Medisoft v15 to work with Windows 7. We recommend Windows 7 Pro if you will be networking Medisoft. Just make sure Medisoft installs to C:\\Medisoft instead of under Program Files. If you are going to have an operating system incompatibility it is probably going to be with 64-bit Windows which is becoming more and more common now. But that is not a Windows 7 problem. 64-bit problems usually crop up with addons or during the registration process.
