Microsoft Office Help

Post by smithdavid4321 » Mon Nov 30, 2009 10:39 pm

Hi,
My computer is 6 years old (a bit of a museum piece) and is soon to be replaced by a new laptop. On my existing computer I have Microsoft Office 2007; is there any way to transfer it to my new laptop or do I need to buy it. My wife bought the initial office which she could donate to two other computers, in this case mine and my son. Any help gratefully accepted.

This is not exactly a Microsoft Office Forum...

Office 2007 should work on about any new computer that you might purchase. If you don't have media, you can download the 60-day trial from Microsoft and enter the key you got for your previous computer. If it won't activate, you'll have to call Microsoft and explain to them what you are doing. It is usually a quick phone call
