I would like to have a different facility on claims than what is in the main practice set up. I have a practice that bills under two separate facility names but paper claims always print with the facility info from the practice setup instead of the facility i assign to that provider. They have a provider that will be billing under her own tax id but under a different facility name. How can I make her assigned facility show up on the claim???? I hope that makes sense.

Also if assign a facility it will print the practices tax id on the claim not hers, even though I tell it to file claim as an individual. If I mark "all" on the facility then it will print her TIN on the claim. NO matter what I do it always prints the practice as the facility.

Are you talking about box 32 - Service Facility Location? You might consider a practice ID override by facility to take care of the tax id.

yes, I am talking about Box 32. It always prefills in with whatever is the practice location info is, but at times I want to use a different facility and I cant seem to find a way to do that and make it print in box 32.

You have to use the Report Designer. Pull up the claim form you use, highlight the particular field and you can select the Properties. But in checking the properties for the CMS 1500 Form Primary 02/12 it does list the Facility on the transaction...so are you sure you are listing the facility you want in Transaction Entry??
