is it possible to set up my claims so that the signature on file appears in box but NOT in box 13?

I have a new client who only bills as a courtesy and doesnt accept assignment, and doesnt want the payment to come to his office

thanks! Ali :D

Is there a way to get the rendering provider's name in box 31 with a current date instead of signature on file?

and

how can i get a group name/group Npi in box 33 of the hcfa?

Thank you, Ali

When you create claims, select the radio button Attending instead of the default Assigned before you click Create.

Edit the insurance carrier and go to the Options and Codes tab. Select Print Name in the field Physician Signature on File. Then go to that provider's Provider IDs tab and make sure the option File Claims as Group is selected on the record that would apply. Make sure all group information is filled out in the Practice IDs tab.
