Field Width Editing in V12 SP2

Post by springhollow » Mon Apr 11, 2016 11:41 am

Hi Gavin,
I wanted to know why I can't edit the Grid Columns window with the CPT list in V12 SP2 like I can in other parts of the program. I would like to change the field width for the Code in the CPT list from 10 to 12. Is this possible?
Thank you,
Kathy McCuan

Hi Kathy, are you talking about the Procedure/Payment/Adjustment List? And are you talking about the Code 1 column? I am able to adjust the width on v20 Network Pro. Make sure yours isn't Medisoft Basic which has some limitations on what you can adjust on your Grid Columns.

The answer is yes to both questions. I'm not sure whether it is Medisoft Basic. It is V12 Sp2 running on XP Pro in a virtual machine which you helped me set up a few years ago.

Medisoft Basic won't allow you to adjust the field width. You'll need Medisoft Advanced for more flexibility on your grids.

What would it take for me to upgrade?

Hi,Medisoft Advanced is located on our shopping cart here. Two months of support comes with your purchase, but you might want to have us convert your data for you or you can do it yourself.

Gavin, I noticed a price range for Advanced with lower prices for upgrades and higher for new. I have V12 SP2 now. Would mine be an upgrade? What would the price be for the lowest no-frills version of Advanced V20?

No, v12 is too old for trade-in value. A v20 New will upgrade your v12 Basic data, but you won't get an upgrade discount.
