Beginning Monday, February 16, Medisoft Network Professional Version 14 (v14) will be shipped with an Advantage Database Server 9.0 serial number. (The CD will still contain Advantage 8.0; you will need to download Advantage 9.0 from the following site: http://devzone.advantagedatabase.com/dz ... latform=12.) As you are aware, an Advantage 9.0 upgrade will be required for Medisoft Network Professional Version 15 (v15). By moving to Advantage 9.0 now, you will be able to upgrade to Medisoft v15 without requiring an Advantage upgrade. Remember, price protection remains in effect for Medisoft v14 until the release of v15 in early March.

(I'm looking before I leap!)

1. Medisoft Network Professional version 14 (regardless of Service Pack) is already fully compatible with ADS 9.0, and the database upgrade will appear transparent? (I'm running a pre-Febuary 2009 version of Medisoft 14 and ADS 8.1)

2. We're to steer clear of ADS 9.1 that is also available for download on the Advantage website?

Paul, you are correct. But just to be clear, if you have Advantage v8.1, you must buy the upgrade to Advantage v9. Your v8 serial number won't work.
