Charge entry limits

We have encountered a problem where a charge is posted to an account and a personal payment is then posted within the patient's account (not from the money bag) but when we try to apply that payment the charge that we just entered from that date does not show up. There is a message that 650 charge entries are on this account. Is there a limit to the number of charge entries we can have on an account?
