Last Patient Pay Amount

Last Patient Pay Amount

On the Patient Collection Report, how is the "Last Patient Pay Amount" populated? I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to it. Thanks!

It is actually the last payment amount that was applied. So if they paid $100 last and it was applied to 3 different charges, the amount that was applied last is the last payment amount. That doesn't make a lot of sense, but that is the way it is.

That's what I though too, but I ran a this for a client the other day, and the amounts that populated there was not that last line payment amount. In fact there were no payments at all on some of the patients' ledgers that matched the amount shown there.

Nope. there are no single line items of any kind that match.
