Medisoft v20 release date and mobile app version

Post by Hulty » Fri Nov 14, 2014 9:17 am

1) Any update on the expected release of Medisoft V20?

2) Is the new Medisoft v20 patient kiosk features expected to work with only the network version of Medisoft?

Thanks

McKesson said Medisoft v20 would release this fall. We haven't received any updates, so we are expecting it any week now. I haven't received any word that Patient Intake Mobile will work with Medisoft Advanced or Basic. Since Medisoft Mobile requires Medisoft Network Pro, I am assuming that Patient Intake Mobile will also require it.

Medisoft has revised the release date. It is scheduled for 2/17/2015 now. Initially it will be only for Medisoft Network Pro for iPad only and screen size 9.5" or larger. Android tablet is scheduled for release on 4/17/2015 for 10" screen or larger.

New Target GA Day: Medisoft v20 and Lytec 2015

Post by Gavin Walker » Thu Feb 19, 2015 11:07 am

The revised Target GA day is the week of February 23, 2015. The postponement is slight and due to a small postponement in duties essential to finish the last GA obligations.

We make an apology for this slight postponement and look onward to bringing Medisoft v20 and Lytec 2015 the week of February 23, 2015.

Significant Notice: This message also relates to Medisoft Clinical v20 and Lytec MD 2015.

Medisoft v20 is GA

Post by Gavin Walker » Wed Feb 25, 2015 10:55 am

Medisoft v20 is generally available (GA) as of now, February 25, 2015.

A pre-GA edition of the Medisoft mobile app has been uploaded to the iTunes® app shop. It must not be downloaded to link to Medisoft v20. McKesson has presented an update to Apple® that comprises repairs and beta advice. You must wait for this update to be published by Apple before downloading. This update is in the Apple backlog and we suppose it to be accessible inside 7 business days. We will inform you if there is a postponement by Apple past 7 business days.

FYI, Kaspersky Anti-virus incorrectly flagged part of the install as malware and Medisoft did not install properly. So, disable your anti-virus scans before installing.

Does v20 upgrade require us update to the Advantage database server past 11.10? Is there a separate README/INSTALL available for v20?

I think I will wait until you have tested it so as to not bork our installation. :)

No, v20 still works with Advantage v11.1.

Also, Zemana AntiLogger would not allow the Report Pro install to finish. So I had to disable my AntiLogger and re-run the install.

Medisoft 20 App is working and I'd like to try it out live. It's just that there are 3 forms in there under 'Forms & signatures', they are "Financial Policy", "New Patient Consent", and "Office Policies", WHERE DOES ONE GO TO EDIT THEM? Installation and user manual do not indicate where to find these. In fact, none of the manual describes "Medisoft 20" App.

This is documented in the v20 release notes. If you are having trouble getting your hands on this, private message me your email address and I will email you a copy. The documentation recommends using Notepad++, which is much better for editing these files than the Notepad program that comes with Windows.
