If both facilities are operating under the same tax id, then you could set them up under the same Medisoft practice with separate facility records.

In newer versions of Medisoft, there is a utility \Medisoft\Bin\MediUtils.exe. In MediUtils you can either to a Reset Accounting or use the Import/Export feature.

MediUtils should have prompted to make a backup. You'll need to restore from backup and then load the latest service pack for your version of Medisoft and try again.

Hi Gavin.

Regarding the top subject, i did the export and import and it works great. But not all of my ICD-9 and CPT codes export. when i select the Diagnoses codes to export it shows that i have 541 to export, but when the export finishes notepad confirmations shows only 73 exported. same thing happens with CPT.

The problem with the Import/Export function is McKesson programmed it to exclude any procedure or diagnosis code that was originally generated by their Codes on Disk product. If your copy of Codes on Disk is not too old, you should be able to install it and generate the codes into the new practice data set. I will private message you a couple of other options we have.
