We are looking at a server upgrade this year. Wondering if anyone knows if MS Server 2012 standard should present any problem for Medisoft ver 17?

Thank you.

Running Medisoft v17 and v18 just fine on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Standard. I wouldn't try anything older than Medisoft v15 sp2 on it. Avoid Windows Server 2011.

Have you guys tested Medisoft 19 on Windows Server 2012 R2 yet? I have a new install coming up, and would like to use R2 if it works.

We have installed this, but I can't say we have this in a live environment yet. We had serious trouble with the HP server we attempted to install this on. It kept blue-screening until we got a special BIOS upgrade from HP and we had to re-stage the server again.

We plan a major implementation of this with our hosted customers after the new year.

Have you had any live results with V18 on Windows Server R2? And what about a virtual environment? We are planning a data/server migration later this month and I can find references to Server 2012 all over the web, but not 2012 R2.

We do have a Windows Server 2012 VM setup and running Medisoft v18 in a live environment, but have not tested v18 on 2012 R2. We also have several Server 2012 R2 VM's running Medisoft v19 in a live environment.
