Sort of if you like the way the Billing Charge feature works in Medisoft Advanced or higher. The intention of this feature is to add a late payment fee either by percentage or amount, but there is a lot of flexibility. This has to be setup as a Billing Charge Procedure in Medisoft and these charges will not go on an insurance claim.

I will have to go play with that, I have never used the late fee feature before. An urgent care we bill for is starting a state approved membership program and I am looking for a way to bill them their membership fee's each month without hand entering. It is possible we could have alot of people on this program as we have corporations signing up employees...so hand entering this fee each month wouldn't be very efficient and If we don't have to buy membership software that would be great so all of the statements that come from the clinic look the same.

Is the late fee setup up just in the procedure/billing code list or is there something in practice set up that needs to be configured as well.

There has to be a patient balance for Billing Charges to work. A balance outstanding to insurance will not work either.
