interest owed

how do i apply interest owed when i am posting pymts ?? thanks

when ins pays and they are giving me interest because it took them over 30 days to pay they owe me interest when they pay it how do i apply it

I have created an account in Medisoft for Interest Payments. I have different cases set up for each insurance (one for MCR, one for BCBS, one for MCD and so on). When the interest payment comes in, I enter a charge in the transaction window. And then I can post that payment. I created a procedure charge called "interest" for interest paid by insurance. I have also created a payment code with the same description.
