BillFlash Update - New Design & New Features Now Live

Post by Gavin Walker » Wed Feb 08, 2012 4:22 pm

NexTrust is pleased to announce our newest BillFlash.com enhancements found under the new My Account design including User Accounts, Preferences, Sub-Accounts, and Profile. These new features will provide more flexibility, control and security right at the user's fingertips. The new features will be particularly appealing to billing services as they can easily manage multiple billing entities in one BillFlash account. As well, billing services will be able to give differentiated access to internal and external users.

New Features available through new My Account:

User Accounts
o Control and manage access for multiple users with Admin controlled permissions allowing View, Edit, or Full permission for internal and/or external users.

Preferences
o Customize billing documents templates through an online user interface which looks just like the actual document. (Example: messages, payment types accepted, color, make payable to, and return and remit to addresses.)
o Additionally, this is where the new services (Paperless eBill, online ePay, and OfficePay coming in Q1 2012) will be managed.

Sub-Accounts
o If a Biller manages multiple billing entities, they will now use a Sub-Account for each unique billing entity. With the sub-account functionality Billers will be able to set unique preferences and customization for each Sub-Account.

Profile
o Update and manage BillFlash account information including Business Information and Contacts.

What does this mean for Billers that only manage one billing entity?

Business will continue as usual for approximately 50% of BillFlash accounts that don't need Sub-Accounts. New features can be explored and used at each Biller's convenience.

What does this mean for Billers that manage multiple billing entities?

Fortunately, these Billers too will predominantly be able to continue to process business as usual. A Sub-Account is needed for each unique billing entity (identified by Return Address: Name, Street Address, and Zip). To simplify the Sub-Account creation process for these Billers, NexTrust has created a new Sub-Account for each unique billing entity that has been uploaded during the prior 12 months. When a Biller uploads a file recognized by BillFlash as a new billing entity, a simple wizard will guide users to either create a new Sub-Account or to merge the entity into an existing Sub-Account. New features can be explored and used at each Biller's convenience.

What about previous Account Level Preferences?

The new Preferences function will give Billers full access to view and manage all previous account level preferences which they created either during enrollment or by calling BillFlash Support. By default these have also been copied into each Sub-Account that was created.

If you are sending your own statements your actual cost is probably around a $1.00 per statement. At the present cost of $0.76 a statement you can have someone else print, fold, stuff, seal, & mail your statements for you!

Contact me if you want us to set this up for FREE.
