PATIENT PAYMENTS

i want to make sure im understanding this
when a pt makes a 200.00 payment and i put it on there 1 case where pymts,adjust, and comments screen is (under where i put charges) and then i have lets say 2 more cases same pt for different days and he owes different amounts on each case am i to understand i have to go back to the first case take that money off go to the money bag and post it there??

That's right. Many just enter all payments through Deposit Entry (moneybag) except for co-pays.

so when a pt makes a pymt go the money bag put it there. and when im done posting ins payments i then have to go back into each account on the eob to look and see if in fact, the have pending pymts that i can apply??
sounds crazy is there an easy way to do this

You apply payments through moneybag too. Not sure what you saying. It sounds like a couple of hours or training would be money well spent. We offer remote training at $95 per hour or training videos at $25 per month. Of course the videos can't answer specific questions but they will walk you through various portions of the program.
