Patient Statements Not Complete!

Post by dmp2508 » Thu Jan 19, 2012 7:48 am

Hello, I am currently using Medisoft Advanced V16 SP1 student Edition. My Instructor wants us to print a patient statement with all charges, adjustments, and deductions. When I go to print it, it only shows 2 procedures, and there are four. I have deleted all and re-entered again and again. This is a problem for my whole class. No one can get these to show, but all transactions are correct and complete. We print under activities, patient statements. She will not let us go to reports, and print statements. It is also what the book says to do. I am confused why only 2 procedures show on statement.

Are you printing remainder or standard statements? What type of statement record is it in Statement Management (remainder or standard)?

And what is in the Type column for all the records in Statement Management? Which Report template are you using?

There should be a column labeled "Type". If it is not there, click the button in the upper left corner of the grid and add the "Type" column.

That is why some don't print. The record type in Statement Management must match the report type you are trying to run. Delete all the records of the other type and then click Create Statements and make sure the radio button is selected with the correct statement type.

Ok, I did that and they are all standard now. But the one I need to print only shows 2 procedures, and there are four. Ok for example the statement is for the patient and the guarantor. The patient had 4 procedures done on the same day, as well as the guarantor, he had 2 procedures done. They are husband and wife. So in conclusion the statement is showing only 2 procedures, and should be 4, and the guarantor/husband is showing 1 procedure, and should be 2. I am at a loss here. I have looked through the transactions, and appointments, and cannot figure out why they all do not show on statement.
