Important Update: Revenue Management Subscription Cut-off

Post by Gavin Walker » Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:54 pm

Important Update: Revenue Management Subscription Cut-off Extended to February 28, 2012

McKesson previously communicated that Revenue Management would no longer work for older versions of Medisoft or Lytec (older than Medisoft Version 17 or Lytec 2011) beginning December 31, 2011. At that time, customers using an older version of the software would no longer be able to use Revenue Management to process electronic claims regardless of the clearinghouse or payer(s) they send to.

McKesson has extended the Revenue Management subscription deadline to February 28, 2012 to give more time for customers to upgrade to the latest version of Medisoft or Lytec. This is a one-time only extension. If you plan to continue to use Revenue Management to submit electronic claims to any clearinghouse or payer, you will need to upgrade to Medisoft Version 17 or Lytec 2011 by February 28, 2012.

Revenue Management is no longer sold separately but rather is included in the current versions of Medisoft and Lytec, which are compliant with the HIPAA 5010 standards that went into effect January 1, 2012

Final Reminder: Revenue Management Subscriptions End Februar

Post by Gavin Walker » Thu Feb 16, 2012 12:38 pm

The product versions that are affected are Medisoft Version 15 and Version 16, and Lytec 2009 and 2010.

To continue using Revenue Management to proces electronic claims and remittances, you will need to be on Medisoft Version 17 or Lytec 2011 by February 28, 2012. Many of our customers have already upgraded. However, if you are still on the old releases, please work now to upgrade or do something else about your electronic claims.
