Using the Small Balance Write-off feature

Hi,
I've been trying to figure out what I'm missing. I haven't been able to use the small balance write-off feature on Medisoft (currently v17).

I have read all the information available in Medisoft help, but I just can't figure out how to make it work.

I get this message: "There are no entries to write-off for the charge write-off options you selected."

Any advice or steps to follow to use this feature?

In the Patient Selection at the left side of window enter something in all 4 fields and then click Apply at the bottom. If that doesn't work, tell us what selection criteria you are using.

I've gotten it to work. I wasn't entering the statement submission count.
But, it seems that not everything on the list before you write-off the balances appears on the actual write-off. Is that right?
Also, any write-off made seems to keep showing up on other write-off reports.
