Estimated insurance

Hi,
In my old software I was able to input how much the insurance was liable for and how much the patient is liable for. When I printed out a statement it would say how much the patient was responsible for and how much was pending on insurance. Is there a way to assign these amounts in Medisoft? How do I do that? Is there a training DVD that will show me how to work with the medisoft program? I only need to know the billing portion of it. Thanks so much for your help!

In Medisoft Advanced or higher you typically want to print remainder statements which only prints out remainder balance after insurance has paid. To do exactly what you want to do you can maintain coverage percentages on the case and then calculate the amounts based on the price code. You will need to develop custom statements to do this. We have training videos online. The cost is $25 per month and you can watch the videos at your leisure.
