McKesson Medisoft Clinical Receives ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certification
As a team, we have been focused on delivering the latest version of Medisoft® Clinical to improve the healthcare experience for both physicians and their patients. To that end, I am pleased to announce that Medisoft Clinical version 17 sp1 recently earned certification as a "Complete" electronic health record (EHR) system under the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ATCB) process. The software was certified by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, as 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the applicable certification criteria for Eligible Providers adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. McKesson Adds Capability to Transmit to Fax-only Pharmacies
We are excited to announce that prescribers using Medisoft Clinical are now able to send prescriptions electronically to pharmacies using the fax-only portal on the Surescripts network. This enables prescribers to connect to an additional 11,000+ pharmacies that may not have full electronic capability, but rather receive prescription transactions via fax. Read the full story.
