Updox API Performance

Post by Gavin Walker » Wed Apr 27, 2022 10:17 am

• Connected Matter: Updox API Performance
• Release impacted: V11.2.1
• Your impact: Occasional Updox Performance Perhaps Bringing About Freezing in Medisoft EHR, Lytec EHR, or Practice Partner.

We have been warned of occasional Updox API issues that, contingent on service timing, may lead to a performance impact when reaching your service endpoints. Updox is actively investigating the matter and is working to stabilize their system as rapidly as feasible.

Updates will be posted as we get more from our partner.

If you undergo a performance impact due to this matter, you can incapacitate these API calls by making an initial backup of ppart.ini then revising ppart.ini at the foot of the file in the [Updox] segment:

[Updox]
Activated=OFF

Then Save the changes.

We have been told by Updox that they have addressed the stability of their system and CGM’s endpoint monitors have established that performance has gone back to normal once more. We will continue to monitor these calls closely but believe this matter to be settled at this time.

If you did update your ppart.ini settings due to this, please feel free to reactivate this service by setting the Ppart setting to correspond below:

[Updox]
Activated=ON

Then Save the changes.
