Refill Demand from the drugstore may be directing to Fax. We were warned that a huge amount of Refill demands that are originating in from the Drugstore are erroneously directing to fax. eMDs in tandem with their ePrescribing associate, Surescripts, are exploring the root reason and solution of this routing problem. At this moment there is no act that needs to be taken. You should be conscious that you may see an upsurge in faxed refills.

As of 5:00pm CST, Refill Demand communications have begun processing through the usual ePrescribing operation workflow. You may continue to get fax communications for refill demands while the fax backlog is emptied.
