The wrong drug name is associated with Template LEVOTHY25

Post by Gavin Walker » Mon Jul 07, 2014 10:46 am

The previous 11.0 clinical tools update contained the incorrect name in one of the prescription templates. The Rx Template LEVOTHYROXINE 25MCGQDX300, has wrong Medication Name. The name should be changed from LIOTHYRONNE to LEVOTHYROXINE.

To correct this in the EMR: Select Maintenance > Templates > Prescription Templates > Prescription Templates. The Prescription Templates screen appears. On the Prescription Templates screen, select the prescription template code "LEVOTHY25" and click Edit. Then in the drug name field change LIOTHYRONNE to LEVOTHYROXINE and save the template by clicking the OK button.

When the clinical tools for July 2014 are released, the template will be corrected.

When July 2014 Clinical Tools notification is sent you may download and run the new template installer. Once the installer is run, the selection menu will appear. Please check Rx Templates box and choose the option to overwrite.

Sincerely,
