Direct Messaging Now Available: Medisoft Clinical, Lytec MD

As you may know, 2014 Meaningful Use Stage 2 requires Direct Messaging.
This feature is now available with Medisoft Clinical, Lytec MD, and Practice Partner.
What is Direct Messaging?
Direct Exchange enables providers to share patient health information with other providers via secure emails. These messages will come directly to your EMR Inbox and may contain CCDs or other pertinent patient information. You will also be able to generate messages from this same inbox to send to other providers.
Do I need Direct Messaging to Certify for Meaningful Use?
Providers planning to attest for 2014 Stage 2 Meaningful Use (who have already attested for Stage 1 Year 1 and Year 2) are required to utilize this functionality.
