Important News on ICD-10 Delay

Post by Gavin Walker » Mon Apr 21, 2014 11:03 am

If you have not yet upgraded to Medisoft Clinical v19 SP1, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. This delay allows you additional time for implementation, testing and remediation.

Important Notes
If you are planning to attest for Stage 1 or Stage 2 of Meaningful Use for 2014, you MUST upgrade to Medisoft Clinical v19 SP1 prior to October 1, 2014 (beginning of last quarter reporting period). You will NOT be able to attest for Meaningful Use (any stage) on v18.

If you are beginning your first year of Stage 1, you MUST begin collecting data by July 1, 2014 to avoid penalties. This means that you MUST upgrade prior to July 2014.

If you are currently E-Prescribing and plan to continue doing so, you MUST upgrade to Medisoft Clinical v19 SP1 prior to October 1, 2014 to stay in compliance with the 2014 Surescripts® mandates. Providers that do not upgrade prior to October 1 will see their Surescripts accounts disabled, causing interruptions in E-prescribing services.
