PPRNet grant update

Post by Gavin Walker » Fri Dec 06, 2013 1:54 pm

I am passing along this message from Andrea at Medical University of South Carolina:

Dear PPRNet colleagues,

I am writing to let you know that the PPRNet research team will be responding to a call for grant applications from AHRQ on “Advancing Patient Safety Implementation through Safe Medication Use Research.” The proposed project will be designed to develop and implement patient-centered approaches to reducing adverse drug events from three high-priority drug classes (anticoagulants, diabetes agents, and opioids). Participation will be open to all PPRNet practices.

We will be in touch regarding requests for letters of support in early January and look forward to your partnership in the next generation of PPRNet’s patient-centered practice-based research!

Best,
Andrea
