Announcing General Availability of Practice Partner v9.5.2 SP2

Customers:

We are excited to announce the general availability of Practice Partner v9.5.2 SP2. This service pack release includes customer feature enhancements and improvements to better the usability of the system.

Practice Partner v9.5.2 SP2 includes:
  • o Encryption of CCD files
    o New Letter Codes
    • Improved Usability
    • Corrected defects

Additional Testing for Practice Partner v9.5.2 SP2
In an effort to deliver a solid service pack release, McKesson expanded the testing and QA phase of SP2 to also incorporate a select group of customers. These customers represented a variety of technology and practice environments to ensure they surveyed how the release performed in these different conditions. From this additional analysis, McKesson was able to enhance the installation documentation and correct previously unforeseen bugs before deploying to all customers.

I want to give a special thank you to those customers that participated in this early testing phase; your efforts help make certain we are delivering a great product to the remainder of our customers.

How to receive Practice Partner v9.5.2 SP2 and available patches
There is no change from previous releases in how you access your service pack upgrade, however, if you need instruction on how to do so, please see McKesson's Installation Guide (support site login is required).

Please Note: In addition to loading SP2, please also load any patches listed as 9.5.2 SP2 to avoid any possible problems.
